What to eat in week 2 of pregnancy?
At 2 week of pregnancy, you will not need much change in your daily diet. But there is still a change in your diet for safe and complication free pregnancy.
During pregnancy, you are going to need a lot of vitamins and minerals. The most important of these are folate and iron. Leafy vegetables like cabbage, spinach, and broccoli, etc. are a good source of both folate and iron. These leafy vegetables will help you avoid many complications like spina bifida and anemia.
Eggs are considered a perfectly balanced diet during week 2 of pregnancy. These are a good source of protein, calcium, and vitamins. You can use them in breakfast or as a snack at any time.
To prepare your body for the expected pregnancy dairy products are very important. Milk, cheese, and butter, etc. are a good source of calcium, vitamin D and iron. They should be a must component of your diet.
Fruits, especially, citrus fruits should also be a part of your diet. They are a good source of vitamin C and folate. They can also be used for the change of taste.
